Durham Roller Derby
Coaching at our Home Venue

Training Venue(s)

Since our inception we have skated at the Sir Bobby Robson Centre in Ushaw Moor which is part of the Durham Federation Schools and also supports a number of other local sports teams and groups. They also have an on site Gym at the venue which is used by the local community.

We also use the leisure centre at Meadowfield for our open level sessions, where our members can practice their skills and drills in an relaxed environment, and we also use these for our taster sessions for our new members to get the basics before joining our pre-mins program.

We’re currently in the middle of a Uniform fundraising drive for a home and away kit for 2020 – since we started out we’ve focused on our players skills and team development over aesthetics, so we tend to play in our training vests – but now we’re ready to invest in a new kit to represent us in our 6th year since we founded the league.

You’ll spot a number of events coming up where you can support us with this endeavor – if you’d be interested in sponsoring the league, please drop an email to durhamrollerderby@gmail.com as we have a number of sponsorship packages available
